I'm listening to the podcast right now. I disagree with you, Bryan. I think Gaknar is a tiny little demon, but the fears in this episode are great big fears. They are fears that shape the characters lives and actions.
Bryan, I also fear that I will mess up my kids. It is one of my biggest fears.

Re:How Guys Think..... Lol,Sometimes I find myself doing that with the added internal girl way of thinking...Hmm...might explain why poeple think I'm weird. :/

Voicemail was definitely a wrong number, what I thought was hilarious was that the delivery guy called and got my message welcoming him to the Hellmouth Empire hotline and he still decided to leave a message.

You are right, I think we are both saying the same thing, maybe I just didn't bring it across right in the podcast.

Lol It was kinda hard to hear what he was saying....Now I'm wondering what the heck made him continue on with the msg.

Just got around to listening to the podcast. Great job, once again! It was a great listen.
The only thing I disagree with you on is Buffy's situation in the episode. You said that her feelings of being alone are separated from her slayer duties, but I think they are really connected. She cuts herself off from people and isolates herself because of the fact that she is the slayer. She tried to be a normal girl and when she got close to someone (Angel), everything went to hell, the people she loved changed, she hurt others, people died, etc. So she's afraid of getting emotionally invested in anyone because of what she might do to them. It's also because she has this huge weight on her shoulders that cuts her off from everybody else, like she says in season 7 (CWDP, I think? I am not sure). No one else understands what she's going through. I can see where her fears of being alone are coming from on a personal level at this point in the series (Parker doesn't want to be with her, regardless of her slayerness), but I think her fear is more about her connection to being a slayer than anything else.

You are right, I think we are both saying the same thing, maybe I just didn't bring it across right in the podcast. When Bryan sent me the file for editing, I played the voicemail first and emailed him thinking it could not possibly be the right file. He said to listen to the podcast and it would make sense.
