If you listen to PotentialCast, you hear them talk about SOD, suspension of disbelief. We all love Buffy, but are there any instances in which you roll your eyes because of their implausibility?

The one that comes to mind this very moment(I'm sure there are more,But that involves thinking Lol)

Buffy Fighting the Sensing Snake in 'Shadow'.
It's not because it's a Giant Snake(Mayoresque) but because the fighting and the fake snake just didn't gel.
It looked ridiculous.

Only after they've been pointed out by someone else.

I'm one of those people who get so wrapped up in a show that I tend to gloss over most things for the sake of the over all story line. Things have gotta be really unbelievable for me to roll my eyes and say "as if".

Buffy was pretty good about keeping things real (at least in a universe where Vamps, Demons and the Occult existed). I guess Willow teaching Computer Science in S2 was a touch unbelievable, but I didn't really think about it until I heard them talking about it on PotentialCast. Then I thought "Oh yeah, I guess that wouldn't happen huh?"

I'm glad I don't think too much about the small details, I imagine it could ruin the experience.

I think the Jet Packs & Buzz Saws from 'Seeing Red' fall into this catergory.

& I always get distracted when Eliza Dushku's stunt double is on screen.

I will admit that sometimes the stunt doubles do catch my attention. Only when they look like men in wigs tho.. hehehe

I think the stunt double issue got better after season 2. Season 1 was pretty painful, often times it was very obvious that a double was in the shot. I think that as the seasons progressed they got a little more proficient at framing shots to minimize the number of times it was obviously a double.

To her credit, I think another big impact in later seasons was that Sarah Michelle Gellar did a lot more of the fighting sequence shots herself. It really made a big difference.

She had to put that black belt to use Lol
Sadly Eliza's SD didn't change until S7 :/
They even used her/him on Angel.

It's funny.  I never really paid attention to Eliza Dushku's stunt double.  I do notice SMG's at times.  I also notice James Marsters' double, because he's so much bigger and the wig is bad. (And because I'm focussed on Spike).
