Ooops forgot to say that the whole Buffy NOT choosing to live with Willow ,has always bugged the hell out of me too.

I thought Willow and Buffy weren't roommates at first because Buffy dragged her feet.

While I agree that the Scoobies should have trusted Buffy's instincts about Kathy, I'm not so convinced that Buffy's bad guy instincts are always right.  She had no clue that Angel was a vampire, that Parker (bastard!) was what he was, and she treated Kendra and Faith in basically the same belittling fashion - one wasn't evil at all and the other wasn't evil yet.  Oddly enough, if there is a good judge of character on the show, I think it's Spike.
