Minions To Misunderstandings

First Off
I've just finished watching Weight Of The World right this very second.
(I watched Spiral & I'm going to watch The Gift Now)

More Importantly the thing I'm about to bring up has been bugging me since I brought S5 on DVD 8yrs ago.

In Weight Of The World, Spike takes Xander to See 'Doc' & Question him on how to find Glory(to save Dawn)Doc is cagey and standoffish and tells the boys that he knows a fella who might know a fella in China....all the while moving closer and closer to this shonky looking Box on a table by his front window.
Spike is getting annoyed and then notices that Doc's movements are intentional,He says that Doc knows damn well where to find Glory & that what could help is in the Box....this leads to a fight and Doc throws the Box in his Fireplace, Spike retrives said Box...and leaves with every intention to use whatever is in it to save the Day.

My Problem is it DOESN'T come up again,What gives?

Isn't the box where they get the info about the ritual Glory is going to perform using Dawn?

Hmmm.....Why have I never bothered to look on the tables in the Magic Box.

It's just they don't say the info came from the Box.....and that bugs me. :/

Just got done with 'Weight Of The World' again.
The damn Box was sitting on the table in the MagicBox during the last scene Lol
I was always paying attention to what Giles was saying that I never looked down to see what was in front of him.
